Comfort zone can seem like a vague term, but talking to people who have experience of beeing far above or below the zone for a long time, you get perspective.

If we take the firefighters who served at the well known discoteque fire in Gothenburg as an example, they can very clearly identify what happens when you work with a fever (due to excessive heat from fire effects), and how bad it affects judgement and behaviour. Talking to extremely high-performing athletes, it is also clear. The human body is designed to operate in a temperature range which lies close to 37°C.
We take note of this fact and want to give all, humans and animals, possibility to perform their best - that is, operate in the comfort zone!
